LACK OF MOTIVATION IN CHILDREN FROM PARENTAL PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
The present study aims at the following:
- Recognizing children's lack of motivation from the parents' point of view.
- Recognizing the indication of differences of the relationship between children's lack of motivation and according to gender variable.
The basic study sample is consisted of 285 6th grade female and male pupils who were chosen hierarchal random method from Al - Rasafa and Al – Karkh directorates of education respectively. The studied statistical analysis sample consisted of 200 pupils who were reliability were elicited. The two researcher has also used a number of statistical means. The study findings are chosen hierarchal random method from Al - Rasafa and Al – Karkh directorates. The two researchers has made up scales the designed to measure lack of motivation or initiative. Psychometrical properties such as discrimination, validity and:
- The study sample members have lack of motivation which is close to the hypothetical milieu.
- There were no differences in the degree of parents ’evaluation of their children on the lack of motivation scale.
The two researchers reached a number of recommendations and proposals based on the results of the research.
