THE INTERPRETATION OF ENLIGHTENMENT IN SHAKESPEARE AND NAVAI WORKS
Abstract
The article explores how the concept of Knowledge is interpreted in English and Uzbek classical literature by the works of AlisherNavai and William Shakespeare. These remarkable writers present the peculiarities of people who possess humanism, dignity, love, respect and the development of high moral qualities through the heroes of Navoi and Shakespeare. Although the highest point of perfection in the view of two thinkers is love, it has sought to express in the literature that man must be educated and knowledgeable before reaching this love.
