Data was collected from a sample of 124 participants (Men= 99, Women = 25) with age range 15 to 68 years (<em>M</em>=31, <em>SD</em>=10.69) displaced due to terrorism and military operations. Questionnaires used to gather information comprised of demographic questionnaire and depression, anxiety, stress scale (Lovibond &amp; Lovibond, 1995). Results revealed that among IDPs nuclear family system and not receiving of monetary benefits during displacement correlate<span style="text-decoration: line-through;">s</span> with depression, anxiety and stress; nuclear family system and lack of monetary aid during displacement predict depression, anxiety and stress in IDPs; Additionally, IDPs who were married, living in joint family system and have received monetary benefits during displacement experienced more depression, anxiety and stress as compared to IDPs who were unmarried, living in nuclear family system and haven’t received any monetary benefits during displacement. It was revealed that drastic changes not only effect physical health but also put mental health of the individuals at risk.
