ASSESSING SATISFACTION LEVEL AMONG TEXTILE INDUSTRY WORKERS IN PUNJAB (INDIA) AN EXPLORATORY ANALYSIS
Abstract
Present study is an endeavor to examine the factors affecting the level of satisfaction among
workers of textile industry in Punjab using Principal Component Analysis. Primary data were
collected using a pre tested schedule following proportionate random sampling Findings of the
study revealed that proper remuneration and workplace environment is the most significant
factor in deciding the level of satisfaction among the workers followed by safety measures, basic
facilities and additional monetary benefits.
