IMPACT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON THE EDUCATION SECTOR- A REVIEW PAPER

Abstract

COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease), a recently discovered highly infectious disease is
taking its toll on lots of Industries worldwide. Full and partial lockdowns observed by different
countries have severely affected their economies. The Education Sector is not far behind the
other mainstream sectors. The one-on-one interaction between the teachers and the students is
now highly unlikely if it were to happen in a physical sense. The Education sector is about to see
a huge Paradigm Shift. The shift is from a full-fledged classroom Learning/Teaching to the
Virtual Learning Environment. A lot of schools, colleges and universities have started
functioning Virtually. Work from home has become the new normal for people. Learn from
home will be the new normal soon. This Review Paper aims to find out the different challenges
