Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of the parameter variables (i.e., quality assurance,
transformational leadership, academic culture, and work commitment) to the ecture’s performance.
This quantitative research approach using a survey method and techniques of path analysis. The
population were selected by using proportional sampling from 196 lectures of privat higher
Education in Jambi. The result of data analysis showed that the the parameter variables are directly
positive effect againts lectures performance. The quality assurance, transformational leadership,
and academic culture are directly positive effect againts work commitment. Also, the
transformational leadership directly positive effect againts academic culture. Therefore to improve
the performance lectures, the parameter variables should be improved in privat higher education.
