ROLE OF DATA SCIENCE IN COVID-19 ERA

Abstract

Throughout the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), several countries have
adopted policy of lockdown to restrict its spread. However, continuous stay-at-home can
inflict severe effects on individuals, such as economic problems, unemployment, food
shortages, and mental health issues. People are dependent on digital media to obtain and
share information in this pandemic situation.Data plays an important role in digital media.
Data Science is a developing pitch of science, which involves various methods and should be
constructed with a solid connection to evolving different data technologies. In this research
we focus on the various applications of data science which plays an important role in this
pandemic situation, and makes human life easier. This research helps the practitioners for
their future work.
