Abstract

As a resource found to be a great potential, the role of millennial generation is vital in
existence, moreover in an era that puts forward the advancement of technology. PT. Dianatina Ayu
runs in a garment industry offering mass and costume production placing millennial generation for
70% of their staffs. This study aims to identify PT. Dianatina Ayu’s design and strategy in
establishing an impeccable workspace perfect for millennial generation. Data analysis utilized NVivo
12 Plus to assist in data coding and form main categorization according to the data sources. It appears
that workplace culture and office design has just begun in project and implemented in PT. Dianatina
Ayu under Paulina Katarina Division. This division has been applying a work and balancing life
culture to maintain their staffs’ productivity and motivation as though life aspect and work aspect hold
the same weight in value. The weak point should be taken into consideration is the lack of awareness
by a number of staffs in understanding the importance of technology in industrial era 4.0.
