Abstract

Cybercrime has evolved and today it exists in an organised form [1]. Cybercrime has become a big business and have emerged with vendors and suppliers to serve cybercrime market that offers a big range of illegal activities. The complexity of cybercrime structured in highly organised way like hierarchy model that involve leaders, engineers, infantry, and hired money mules.Cybercriminal provide everything necessary to organize any cyber-attack or cyber fraud. The proposal is very flexible and contains malicious code to control the spreading and movement of malware in the infrastructure. These types of deals defined as cybercrime-as-a-service is presented and offer in the underground or black market, where all communication and discussion of criminal activities occurs as it is secure and does notm required a great investment. These sales model allows criminal to operate covertly by acquiring all the basic tools and service needed to conduct the cybercrime without considering technical expertise.This cybercrime as a service has expand to IoT(internet of things) and also cloud. The service provided includes ransomware,DDOS attack, etc. This service is all available in the dark web and client could bid and bargain with the price for the service or products [12]. This paper is reviewing on several types of ransomware and public awareness on ransomware as a service.
