Abstract

Job satisfaction of teachers although not directly related to their performance, but it has become the prime concern for management of colleges. Teachers choose their profession by choice but not by chance. The teachers perceive their profession as noble profession and feel this gives them an immense pleasure than any other profession. The productivity of the teachers will be increased once they are satisfied with their job. Hence, the present paper is an attempt to study the job satisfaction of teachers who are working in colleges. The study helps to study the factors which contribute to the job satisfaction of the teachers.
