Abstract

This research explores the mechanics of a high-involvement work system (HPWS) and Productivity with the mediation of entrepreneurial orientation. The study proposed that (HPWS) has a positive effect on productivity. If the organization’s top-level executives have innovative ideas, proactivity, and risk-taking which is called entrepreneurial orientation then it will have a positive impact on productivity. This study was conducted on the top management employees from 15 manufacturing organization across India. A survey was conducted on 117 numbers of employees working in top-level management i.e. CEOs, HR managers, General Managers, and Managers. To analyze the resulting study used multicollinearity, regression, and correlation analysis were carried out to study the effect of exposes variables of HPWS on Productivity as the response variable. The mediator entrepreneurial orientation is determined by using regression analysis the result shows HPWS and Productivity in the absence of the mediating variable EO affects the result of a partially correlated relation between dependent and independent variables. As a result, organizations can able to gain a sustainable competitive advantage.
