Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) is an advanced multiple access technology and it is considered as important technique for fourth generation wireless mobile communication applications.  In this paper, subcarrier allocation schemes for multi hop OFDMA systems are proposed. The scheme selects the feasible channel for data communication from serving base station to user equipment’s and links are grouped. Optimization algorithm is used to optimize the subcarrier allocation scheme. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves better in network throughput and subcarrier utilization..
