Exploring High Performance Work Practices in Indian Health Industry
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to develop a conceptual model of HPWPs for Indian health
industry. A structured questionnaire comprising of 50 HPWPs with a five-point rating scale has
been used. Model is based on two important paradigms of HR practices – employees’ awareness
and perception for HPWPs. Factor analysis is followed by confirmatory factor analysis to build a
model of HPWPs. The paper has successfully developed high performance model for health
sector companies.
