FROM A HEALTH EMERGENCY 'COVID- 19' TO A SOCIO- ECONOMIC CRISIS : AN IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Abstract

Perhaps, Covid -19 is the dangerous phase of human life that effects without discrimination in terms of wealth, age, caste ,class , sex, race etc. The global outbreak of coronavirus disease in 2019 is affecting every part of human lives, including the physical world.  The measures taken to control the spread of virus was home quarantine or lockdown of isolation or social distancing. The management of this crisis situation was a huge affair of finances and labour. The measures taken to curb the spread of the disease finally resulted in the various negative as well positive impacts in the global world order. Starting from the social to the economic, almost every aspect of human life got impacted due to this health emergency Covid-19. This paper tries to show the outbreak of the disease and the impacted areas due to the Covid_19 positively as well as negatively.
