Abstract

The culture of a university helps establish its prestige and branding, and is the foundation of
university autonomy, regional and international integration, and global trends in higher
education. This study surveyed 135 lecturers and 367 students at Saigon University, and
explored their awareness of the university's core values and the factors that influenced
them. The key factors were positive signs of school culture and the factors that influence the
development of the school culture is fixed meaningful. Leadership in cultural development also
influenced the core values.
