Abstract

Industrial revolution 4.0 brought repercussions for powerplant technology. At this time of activity, many are done digitally or based on the internet. The rapid development of technology has also led to changes in people's lifestyles. It cando quickly and easily with online-based services on the internet—likewise, Financial Technology.The rapid development of Fintech has had a positive impact, but many problems have arisen, especially from fintech-based money lending services or Fintech Peer to Peer Lending (P2PL).Various legal issues arise on the legal validity of contracts between creditors and debtors in Fintech loan services. Various lawsuits stick to the standard truth of agreements between creditors and debtors in Fintech loan services who must obtain legal protection.The research method uses normative law with a legislative and regulatory approach data from primary legal materials, namely legislation, and secondary standard materials from literature and interviews. Data analyzed qualitatively.As a result of the research, it is educating in the community using money loans based on Financial Technology orFintech P2PL becauseit is still new because the service appears in the city. There are no comprehensive rules in regulating this activity's implementation the lack of guidance, education in the community in using and using this service wisely. Therefore, the debtor must obtain certainty in protecting legal protection against transparency, fair treatment, confidentiality, and security and resolving disputes at a simple, fast, and affordable cost.
