Abstract

The need for competent and competitive HR crisis is widening worldwide. It has become obvious that no proper customer management can be provided without proper workforce. In the present day competitive business environment, for all types of business the human resource (HR) is considered as one of the very competent department for improving the overall organizational performance. To be successful in the industry, may it be product or service or knowledge management, organizations needs to strive for better customer – satisfaction that is vital key for their survival. To achieve this, organizations needs to adopt innovative HR practices to improve the performance and to keep pace with the changing competitor mindsets. It is observed that in the coming years,  HRM is all set to move from its basic functions of administration, namely recruitment, selection, appraising to more advanced paradigms like Automation, Augmented Intelligence, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence that are expected to completely re–define the manner of the workforce characteristics and organizations.In this era of automation in every sphere of activity, AI is capturing a much better space even in the healthcare industry. Now the development has reached to a point were Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to ease the HR crisis in healthcare sector. The inputs have started coming in were the AI is used to facilitate in diagnostics, decision-making, big data analytics and administration, among others. There is a substantial gap between the promise and reality of artificial intelligence in human resource (HR) management.
