Abstract

Now days, Internet is becoming an important part of our life. Everyone is very much depending on cyber world which also increase the space for cybercrime. Cybercrime is evolving as a very serious issue in today’s scenario. The internet becomes integrated part of our lives because it brings joy or happinessbut sometime it becomes nightmare. There is a numerous trick used by cyber criminals to cheat people. Cyber world becomes forte of everyone, government sector to businessmen, school students to college students and teenagers to adults. In this study investigators want to investigate about the attitude towards cybercrime awareness among college students. For this purpose, investigator took 500 students from Haryana state belongs to professional as well as traditional courses. For data collection Cyber Crime Awareness Scale (CCAS-RS) by Dr. S. Rajasekar (2013) was used. In this result showed that professional students having more awareness to words cybercrime as compare traditional students but not any difference on the basis of gender. The study also showed Average Cyber Crime Awareness among the college students. As we know the cybercrimes are increasing day by day but we can reduce these crimes by using proper preventive measures. Everyone should always take some precautions while using the internet. Students can be aware by organizing workshops, seminars and conferences etc
