THE POEM-HEARTBREAK OF AL-LEBAB (THE IVY) BY THE POET HAZEM AL-TAMIMI (A STUDY IN THE LIGHT OF THE SEMIOTIC METHOD)

Abstract

The semiotic approach has opened new horizons for dealing with the human intellectual product from a new point of view, and has contributed to defining critical awareness in general and Arab criticism in particular, as it played an important role in deconstructing the text, deciphering its codes, and delving into its depths, and what is monitored of the beauty of it, and accordingly the study came under the title The poem - The Heartbreak of the Ivy - a study in the light of the semiotic method. It consisted of an introduction and five axes, while the introduction was entitled: semiotics - introductory introduction -, and the first axis was entitled: semiotics of the title, and the second axis was entitled: textual semiotics, and the third axis Entitled: The Semiotics of the Textual Conclusion, and the Fourth Axis Entitled: The Semiotics of Pictures, and the Fifth Axis Entitled: The Semiotics of Colors. Then the study ended with a conclusion where you see that semiotics are studying The sign and getting to know its essence, its cause, its being and its relationship with other relationships, I colored this poem with the dark view based on life and its tragedy and disappointment that makes the reader face a reality from which he can only see pessimism, then after that a list of sources, references and a summary in Arabic and English.
