MNEMONIC MOTIVE OF I. BRODSKY'S WORKS IN THE CONTEXT OF POST-MODERN MANIPULATION BY TRADITION
Abstract
Based on the analysis of several works by I. Brodsky, their general principle is revealed - the basis of their
poetics is a mnemonic motif, which is included in the conceptual sphere of the writer's poetry as one of its
most important components. Moreover, the mnemonic motif, structurally contained in the works, carries out
tendentiously the function of orientation or disorientation to classical precedents, more precisely the reflection
that occurs above them. The essential feature of Brodsky's poetry is expressed, his personal position is
determined in a negative convention with traditional genre prototypes, as well as in a polemical attitude to
descendants, explicated in a mnemonic motif.
