Abstract

Today’s financial sector world is turning more and more customer oriented. Banking sector is one the important sector in financial world. After globalization, banking sector is more competitive. Increase in competition leads to focus of all banks including public sector banks and private sector banks on marketing activity. Marketing of products & services gives rise to use of promotional tools. Promotional tools like advertisement, Sales promotion, Public Relation, Publicity, Personal Selling etc.

Public sector banks and Private sector banks are using some traditional promotional tools. This research Paper is about comparative study of traditional promotional tools adopted by public sector & private sector banks.
