Abstract

The social dynamics of modern society leads to a change in the system of value-motivational coordinates of young people, leading to a violation of the socialization system and manifested in various forms of deviant behavior.Including in the form of escapes and vagrancy, differently implemented by boys and girls. As a result, it becomes necessary to research the value-semantic sphere of adolescents and their sex-role specificity for the organization of preventive and corrective actions.

The research was conducted on a sample of 190 adolescents aged 14-16, among whom 93 (40 girls and 53 boys) were detained by police officers on the streets of Novosibirsk for neglect and vagrancy and 97 (40 girls and 57 boys) were secondary school students. The motivational and value sphere of adolescents prone to vagrancy was researched using:method of researching the structure of the motivational sphere of personality by V. Milman, S. Schwartz's methodology for the research of life values in the adaptation of V. Karandashev andQuestionnaire of Sensation Seeking Scale (SSS) by M. Zuckerman.

The results of the research indicate the diversity of the types of motivational profiles of the researched adolescents. In groups of adolescents prone to escape, regressive and impulsive types of motivational profiles are most often encountered, indicates the predominance of consumer motivation, the dominance of life support, comfort and status motives over developmental motives, is an indicator of distorted development, an orientation towards meeting primitive needs. The research of values showed that in both groups of adolescents prone to vagrancy, the same individual priorities of independence, stimulation (search for new sensations and impressions) and safety (a comfortable life situation for oneself) dominate.Coping behavior of such adolescents is characterized by an insufficient level of awareness and volitional control. There are significant differences in the systems of value-motivational coordinates in girls and boys.
