Abstract

Transporting problem is a well-known topic and is used frequently for solving problems of engineering and management sciences. One of the latest tools is imprecise with Pythagorean fuzzy sets, which is a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. It is more capable of expressing and handling uncertain situations. We proposed a new method. Namely, the Parallel moving method gives an optimal solution to the Pythagorean fuzzy transportation problem using fewer iterations. A numerical example gives to reveals the procedure of the simple proposed technique.
