DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN SOUTH CENTRAL COASTAL PROVINCES OF VIETNAM

Abstract

Amongst all tourism destinations, South Central Coastal provinces are the most eminent ones as they play a significant role in the sectorial, local and national socio-economic development in Vietnam. Amongst those provinces, Binh Thuan province is always in the spotlight as an object of interest of many tourists, tourism companies and reseachers. In this article, we present the so far comprehensive process of tourism development of this specific tourism region. Reviewing the latest literature on the topic and subject of research, we identify diverse factors and carry out analysis on how they impact the tourism development of this province. Based on the presented potentials and panorama picture of Binh Thuan province tourism industry and based on the obtained research results in this paper, we deliver several solutions boosting its future development in the next 5-year period.
