Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the manifestation of Islamic values in the personal reading logs of students. As literacy plays a crucial role in shaping individuals' perspectives and values, understanding how Islamic principles are reflected in students' reading habits provides valuable insights into the integration of faith and education.The study employs a qualitative research approach, utilizing personal reading logs as a primary data source. Participants include a diverse group of students from different educational levels, backgrounds, and regions. The research design involves the collection and analysis of personal reading logs over an extended period, capturing a comprehensive overview of the students' literary engagements.The analysis focuses on identifying instances where Islamic values such as compassion, justice, morality, and empathy emerge in the students' reflections on their reading experiences. The research also investigates the types of literature that resonate with Islamic principles and the impact of these readings on the students' worldview.Furthermore, the study considers external factors influencing the incorporation of Islamic values in reading choices, such as family influence, religious education, and societal context. By examining personal reading logs, the research aims to unveil the intricate relationship between Islamic values and the literary preferences of students, shedding light on how these values contribute to character development and ethical decision-making.
